Page Repro has a new FTP server. You can send and receive files from your desktop (such as PDF files or images in formats such as TIFF, EPS or JPEG).
This allows you to access our FTP server. Call us, or send us an email (info@pagerepro.com)

You should have a screen showing the files and folders on the FTP server. In some FTP clients this is a split-screen with your computer on one side and the FTP server on the other.

Once you have connected, you will see a list of folders on the FTP server. Double click on a folder to open it. Now select the file you want and download it to your computer. Most FTP clients will let you drag-and-drop a file to your desktop. If you cannot do this, highlight the file you want on the FTP server and either drag it across to the other side of the split screen, or click on the download button. When you have finished copying files, disconnect from the server.

If you are uploading images, you should use a Binary format such as .bin or .hxq. Some FTP clients will do this automatically. There are two ways to upload files. You can drag-and-drop a file from your computer’s desktop onto the FTP server. If your FTP client does not allow this, navigate to the file you want using the explorer window on your FTP client. Then drag it across to the FTP server (remember to open the folder you want to copy it to), or highlight the file and click on the upload button.

If you do not have an FTP client, you can download one and install it on your computer.
For Macs, try Transmit (www.panic.com) or Fetch (http://fetchsoftworks.com). If you are using OS9, download Fetch 3.0.3.
For PC’s try CoffeeCup Free FTP (www.coffeecup.com)
Remember to get permission from your IT Manager or Network Administrator before downloading and installing new software.
